2011 Christmas Competitive Camp

Westdale and Excelsior Fencing Clubs are pleased to invite you to participate in our 2011 Christmas Competitive Camp. This camp is aimed at all competitive sabre and foil fencers including members of the OFA's OYCAD / OSG / Q4G programs.

When: December 27, 28 & 29. All days will run from 9am to 5:30pm, with a break for lunch. There will also be a tournament on December 30th in Rochester NY (not included in the price of the camp) - details will follow shortly.

Where: Westdale United Church in Hamilton (99 North Oval, at the intersection of King and Sterling).

Cost: $240 for the full camp ($180 for WFC / XEL fencers), or $80 per day if registered before December 5th, $120 per day thereafter subject to capacity.

Coaches: Dan Banks, Tracy Brazeau, Sandra Dulac, Kathryn Pierrynowski, Ranil Sonnadara, Darius Wei + helpers. 

What to bring:

Full fencing gear (including electrics)
Indoor fencing and running shoes
Outdoor wear (we will probably be doing some outdoor training, weather willing)
Lots of fluids to drink
Spare workout clothes
An exercise/yoga mat for stretching
Lunch (or money for lunch - there are several places to buy lunch nearby)
A willingness to work hard

All fencers must have a current OFA Transitional or Excellence membership or a valid USFA membership.

Preregistration

Please preregister using the form below.  Spaces are limited, so preregister early to ensure a place.

Please note that this camp is now almost full. If you are still interested in attending, you should complete the form below anyway. There are a few spots that have been held for fencers who are registered in the CG / Q4G / OSG / OYCAD programs. All other fencers will be placed onto a waiting list and will be advised if they are accepted onto the camp before December 10th.
